The really big wall just looks like the same segment repeated a dozen times. It might make more sense for the blueprint to define only a single 4-block-wide wall, so that you can place multiple ones to get the width you want; an additional plan within the blueprint could just call this segment 10 times at +4 offset to define the huge long wall. This would result in a much shortened blueprint. |

Yes. That was one repeated segment. I just thought: "Who the heck would want a short wall ... or anything else (short) for that matter." Ok the shortened version is appended. A question, is there a way to somehow influence the initial "rotation" of a object I have copied ? Like, the plan should spawn the same way I have seen the object when I was marking the first lower corner of the object ? |

When you use copy, the area is always copied looking North (towards +z) with 0,0,0 as the minimum x,y,z in the volume. However, the recommended way to handle this is to simply make a wrapper plan that offsets and rotates where necessary. For example, the cottage plan was copied using the '/bp copy' but saved as the private plan '_cottage', which is then called by the public 'cottage' plan which rotates and translates so that you are looking at the front door. The reason for this is that otherwise there are simply too many variables to know what the user wants the default origin and rotation to be, so it is left for you to specify yourself using a wrapper plan. |

facing south towards positive z - thanks, that made a lot of things easier now when creating blueprints I know how they will spawn. |
