The exit code should be 'OK' if ALL hosts are up, and WARN if some are up but not all, and CRIT if all are down. You can set the thresholds for this via -w and -c. The situation you give *should* result in a WARNING. Not sure why it doesn't -- things are working as expected here (just ran a couple more tests and I get a WARN for 17/20 vhosts up using v1.4 of the plugin). I assume you've made no modifications to the code to change $WARNING to equal 2... I'll run a couple more tests but I can't duplicate this at this time. |

$ /usr/lib/nagios/plugins/check_esx2 -N -H hostname -C communit -l LIST VHosts: 1/1 up: blogpilot(146) $ echo $? 2 Giving me return code 2 even though *all* Vhosts are up? |
