I am trying to get the trend.cgi to work but am having some difficulty. Using the .7 release from newest beta, under linux, and i have added trendurl = /cgi-bin/trend.cgi to the routers2.conf file. I've got the correct path set for perl rrdtool and /tmp and i know the permissions on the /tmp are good. I get this error on the page: Error message: Premature end of script headers: trend.cgi No debug info file in the /tmp even with it enabled. This is what i see in the apache error log. The problem is (as your apache logs say) that it cannot find RRDs.pm. This is because, although routers2.cgi uses some additional magic to try and find the RRDs, trend.cgi does not. I'll have to add in code to check the .cfg file for more library paths -- I'm working on v1.0b2 at the moment, so 1.0b3 should have this added (fingers crossed). In the meantime, to make trend.cgi work, you will need to do a site-perl install of RRDs.pm. Either run the RRDTool install for site-perl (I think under UNIX this is 'make site-perl-install') or copy the RRDs.pm and the auto/RRDs directory to your perl site-perl directory. I think the RRDTool documentation has more information about how to install the Perl modules into the site-perl path. Steve |
