| Post subject: | Monitoring Windows Servers Using MRTG Bundle |
Hi, i have successfully installed mrtg bundle by following the instructions in http://www.webpronews.com/topnews/2004/ ... s-platform, and configured the myrouters.txt file to add the switches and it worked fine. Now i was trying to add my windows 2003 servers by adding the servers to myrouters.txt file and running Update_myrouters.bat file. After running the bat file a new cfg file is created for the server, but the .ok file that is generated is of size 0KB, and i cannot see the new server in the webpage. Kindly let me know if any additional configuration is required for monitoring Windows servers. |

You will need to make sure you have SNMP installed, configured and working on your Windows server. Also, once you have this working, you might want to add the generic host template to your cfgmaker calls (oyu can get it from the cfgmaker forum on this site) which will allow you to have graphing of memory, cpu, disk, etc. |
