Hi, I am new to router2.cgi, my router2.cgi is up and running, it can show the interface traffic graph. However, there is some strange in the graph of my Cisco 6506 switch. It display some graph which named unrouted-VLAN 1001, and when I search the MRTG config file, it also has the context of the unrouted-VLAN. Do you have the same experience before? Is it the behaviour of MRTG? Thank you. Best Regards, Terry Chow |

You have a Cisco router, which displays internal VLANs as additional pseudo-interfaces. You could just ignore this graph if you want, or otherwise you can use the --if-filter option to cfgmaker to ignore these interfaces (I cant remember the exact required syntax to the option, though; see the cfgmaker pages on the MRTG website). Here, we keep them, since the Networking guys use the stats for tracking internal VLAN traffic. |
