This is really a MRTG question... If you set up your RedHat SNMP correctly, this sort of info should be in the hostmib. Look in the routers.cgi install package in the extras directory, you should find cfgmaker-host. This script works like cfgmaker, but generates .cfg files for monitoring hosts via SNMP -- it should wokr out which SNMP counters you have available, and use them. Steve |

Thanks Steve, but I got an error running it : # ./cfgmaker_host.pl --community=public --libadd=/usr/local/mrtg-2/lib/mrtg2 --workdir=/home/www/mydomain.com/html/nom http://www.mydomain.com ######################################## # Processing host http://www.mydomain.com ######################################## Undefined subroutine &main::snmpget called at ./cfgmaker_host.pl line 105. What should I add more ? |

This script requires the BER.pm, SNMP_util.pm modules shipped with MRTG (the same as cfgmaker requires). If they are in your current directory, or the same directory as the script, or in your perl library then it will work. Steve |
